Street Team condolences

Many people have been posting condolences and stories on the Neil Byrne Street Team Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/NeilByrneStreetTeam)

(March 13, 2014)

Mary Brandenburg: Seems unreal to me when we were just hearing about a possible solo tour from him. Well, he's having his solos in heaven now, I'm sure. My thoughts and prayers are for Carolyn and Sarah, all of Celtic Thunder members and to all of us who lost a friend and wonderful man. When he referred to us as Hello everybody in Celtic Thunder Land, it always made me feel like part of the Celtic Thunder family and will miss his smiles and great wishes.

We will all miss him. He was so special to all of us. My thoughts of him are happy memories. I was lucky to have seen CT when they came to Baltimore twice in the last 6 years. I didn't get to meet him, but was able to enjoy the wonderful music and his wonderful voice. A very talented, but more importantly, caring person. I have no doubt that he is singing in heaven and maybe being the leader of the choir up there.

I knew Paul would have a message about George. They were together for quite awhile and we will never forget how much fun they seemed to be having. CT fans are all stunned and overwhelmed by this loss. More importantly though, is the loss being felt by Carolyn and Sarah. Will be praying for them and all those members of CT, past and present, because you are all a family in itself. As the Fans we will miss having him refer to us as Celtic Thunder Land. A Land that has lost an important part of our land, but have many wonderful memories of him.

Kay Newman: Your group is my husband and mines number one. We have been to three of your concerts at The Quest in Spokane, WA. Last year was awesome. We had the VIP package, and got to see your sound check. Our seats was second row, middle. Perfect view. George kept flirting with me. I asked my husband, is he flirting with me, and Larry said yes. I felt like a high school girl, but I am a senior (young) That was the highlight of our night. My heart is so sad. I will miss him very much. Our prayers go out to the group, as well as George's family. God Bless Kay and Larry Newman

Sheila K. Spinner: I am so sad, and my heart is quite heavy. I loved all of Celtic Thunder, but George was my favorite -- a real gentle giant. May God bless his soul, and shower peace and grace upon his family.

Dawn Barrett: My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in Celtic Thunder and George's family. Fly high with the angels and rest easy as you have earned your wings and are now singing in Our Heavenly Creator's choir. You will be deeply missed by MANY.
